What gets deleted, and when

What's removed

  • Your profile, display name, photo
  • Every workout and activity you logged
  • HealthKit-derived records we hold
  • Posts, comments, reactions, and shared workouts
  • Club memberships (clubs you owned go to the next admin or close)
  • Push notification tokens and devices
  • Authentication credentials

The timeline

  • Immediately: your account is signed out everywhere.
  • Within 30 days: all data removed from production systems.
  • Within 90 days: backup copies purged.
  • Indefinitely retained: only anonymous, aggregated analytics that can't be traced back to you.

What we keep, and why

  • Tax / billing records we're legally required to retain (none for prelaunch users).
  • Records of abuse-prevention actions, only when needed to keep banned users out.
  • Server logs for the standard 30-day window, then purged.
